Description

Crispy roasted cauliflower tossed in a spicy-sweet bang bang sauce—an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or side dish with bold flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets (about 4 cups)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Bang Bang Sauce:
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Toss cauliflower with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet.

3. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.

4. Meanwhile, whisk together all sauce ingredients until smooth.

5. Let cauliflower cool slightly, then toss with sauce or serve sauce on the side.

6. Garnish with chopped scallions, cilantro, or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Substitute cauliflower with broccoli for variation.

Use plant-based mayo or yogurt for a vegan version.

For more heat, add extra sriracha or red pepper flakes.

Air fryer method: cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
