Description

A quick and refreshing California roll-inspired cucumber salad with creamy, savory flavors and a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 4 imitation crab sticks, chopped
  • 1/2 avocado, cubed
  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Slice the cucumber into 1/8-inch thick slices using a mandolin or sharp knife.

2. Place cucumber slices into a large container or jar.

3. Add chopped crab, avocado, mayonnaise, cream cheese, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.

4. Secure the lid and shake well until all ingredients are evenly coated and combined.

5. Serve immediately for best flavor, optionally garnished with extra sesame seeds.

Notes

Use English cucumber for fewer seeds and better texture.

Soften cream cheese fully to ensure smooth mixing.

Adjust soy sauce to taste for saltiness.

Best enjoyed fresh as avocado may brown over time.
