Description

Savory garlic butter noodle stir-fry loaded with tender beef, crisp vegetables, and a rich umami-packed sauce, perfect for quick griddle cooking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz noodles (lo mein, yakisoba, or spaghetti), cooked and drained
  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • For the sauce:
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat a griddle or large skillet to medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil.

2. Add sliced beef in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Move to the side.

3. Add broccoli, carrots, onion, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

4. Push vegetables aside and melt remaining butter. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. Add cooked noodles and spread evenly. Pour sauce over noodles and toss to combine.

6. Mix in beef and vegetables, tossing everything together until well coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.

Notes

Use any noodles you have on hand, including spaghetti for a quick substitute.

Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.

Avoid overcooking vegetables to maintain a crisp texture.

Can be made on a stovetop skillet if a griddle is not available.

Adjust soy sauce to control saltiness.
