Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 packet Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix (plus ingredients listed on packet)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Whisk together milk, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
3. Stir in garlic powder, pepper, frozen vegetables, and shredded chicken.
4. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to the package directions.
6. Stir shredded cheddar cheese into the biscuit dough.
7. Drop spoonfuls of dough evenly over the chicken mixture.
8. Drizzle melted butter over the biscuit topping and sprinkle with parsley.
9. Bake 40–45 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
10. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
Let the cobbler rest so the filling can thicken.
