Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick and delicious option for lunch or dinner. Loaded with juicy chicken, gooey melted cheese, and savory garlic herb flavors, they’re perfect for busy weeknights or a satisfying grab-and-go meal.

For the Chicken Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Stir in shredded chicken, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is warmed through and coated with seasonings. Set aside.

5. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.

6. Sprinkle a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the center of the tortilla.

7. Add a generous scoop of the garlic chicken mixture on top.

8. Sprinkle with a little more cheese and optional parsley if desired.

9. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly like a burrito.

10. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with the minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the outside of each wrap.

11. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.

12. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

13. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or marinara.


Notes

Use whole-wheat tortillas for a healthier option.

 

Add veggies like spinach or sautéed bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrients.

 

Leftover wraps can be reheated in the oven or on a skillet for a crispy texture.
