Description

The creamy, dreamy sauce combined with tender chicken breasts makes this Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken an irresistible meal. Sun-dried tomatoes add sweetness while Parmesan creates a rich, savory finish. A simple slow cooker dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

3. Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the crock pot.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and red pepper flakes.

5. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken in the crock pot.

6. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan cheese over the top.

7. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

8. Serve with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables as desired.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of cayenne pepper.

Boneless skinless chicken thighs can be used for a richer texture.

This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a green salad.

Double the sauce if you prefer extra creaminess for serving over sides.

Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
