Description
A fresh and creamy cucumber salad inspired by California rolls, combining crab, avocado, and a savory sesame-soy dressing for a quick and satisfying dish.
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 imitation crab sticks, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 avocado, cubed
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Slice the cucumber into thin 1/8-inch rounds using a mandolin or sharp knife.
2. Place the sliced cucumber into a large container or mixing bowl.
3. Add chopped imitation crab, cubed avocado, mayonnaise, cream cheese, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.
4. Cover the container with a lid or mix in the bowl.
5. Shake or stir well until all ingredients are evenly combined and coated.
6. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
7. Garnish with additional sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Use English cucumbers for fewer seeds and a crisper texture.
Serve immediately to prevent the avocado from browning.
You can substitute real crab for a more authentic flavor.
Add a drizzle of sriracha or chili oil for a spicy kick.
