Hamburger Supreme Casserole is the ultimate comfort food—packed with seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, and a creamy, cheesy sauce. This hearty baked dish is perfect for busy weeknights, cozy family dinners, or potlucks with friends.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz egg noodles (or pasta of your choice)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef, diced onion, and garlic. Cook until the meat is browned and the onions are soft (about 6–8 minutes). Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the drained diced tomatoes and cook for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until smooth.
5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer ingredients in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish as follows: Half of the cooked noodles, half of the beef mixture, half of the creamy sauce, and ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Repeat the layers, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy warm!

Swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
Add mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers for extra nutrition and flavor.
Assemble ahead of time and refrigerate. Add 5–10 minutes to baking time if chilled.
