Description
A quick and creamy corn side dish made in one skillet with sweet honey, butter, cream cheese, and seasonings for a perfect balance of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 20–24 ounce bag frozen corn
- 4 ounces (1/2 block) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 3 Tablespoons butter (can use salted or unsalted)
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. To a skillet, add frozen corn, softened cream cheese, butter, honey, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 7-10 minutes until the corn is fully heated, the cream cheese has melted, and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Top with dried parsley if using.
4. Serve warm.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of honey for a sweeter or more savory flavor. Dried parsley is optional but adds a pop of color and mild herbal note. Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easier melting.
