Description
Mint Oreo Balls made with just 3 ingredients & perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Made in minutes and so delicious, no one can guess they’re made with Oreo cookies!
Ingredients
- 1 package Mint OREO Cookies, finely crushed (15.25 oz. pkg)
- 8 oz cream cheese (1 brick), softened
- 2 cups chocolate chips (mint green & semi-sweet)
Instructions
1. Crush the OREO cookies. Use a blender, food processor, or smash them in a sealed plastic bag. Blending half the cookies at a time gives the best results. Stir mixture between blends for fine consistency.
2. Mix the crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until well blended.
3. Use a cookie scoop to portion about 1.5 TBSP of mixture and roll into balls. Place on a parchment or wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
4. Freeze the balls for about 20–30 minutes before dipping.
5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about 1 minute 20 seconds. Stir until smooth, microwaving in 15-second increments if needed.
6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball in melted chocolate and return to lined pan.
7. Place 1 TBSP green or semi-sweet chocolate chips in a sandwich bag, microwave for 40 seconds, massage gently, snip a tiny corner, and drizzle over Oreo balls. Optionally, top with green sprinkles.
Notes
Don’t skip freezing the Oreo balls before dipping — it helps prevent crumbs in the chocolate and improves appearance. You can make the balls ahead of time and dip in chocolate the next day for convenience.
