Description

A cozy 35-minute one-pan meal featuring halal kielbasa, honey-garlic glaze, and roasted seasonal vegetables. Caramelized, naturally sweetened, and easy to clean up.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb halal kielbasa sausage, sliced into rounds
2 cups mixed seasonal vegetables (broccoli florets, carrot slices, Brussels sprouts, onion wedges)
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
In a bowl, toss vegetables with olive oil, smoked paprika, and half the garlic
Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes
Meanwhile, sauté remaining garlic in a skillet until fragrant
Add sliced kielbasa, honey, and soy sauce to the garlic mixture
Roast the kielbasa and veggies in the oven for 15 minutes until golden and sticky
Stir everything together and roast 5 more minutes for glaze to caramelize


Notes

Use halal-certified kielbasa
Swap veggies based on season/availability (e.g., zucchini, sweet potato)
Glaze works well with halal chicken thighs as an alternative
Let rest 5 minutes before serving to set the glaze
