Description

This puppy chow recipe is so delicious and simple to make! It’s perfect for the Saint Patrick’s Day holiday!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Cup(s) of Rice Chex
  • 16 ounces of Wiltons Green Icing
  • ½ Cup(s) of powdered sugar
  • ¾ Cup(s) of Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 package of Gold Sprinkles or any color
  • 2-gallon baggies

Instructions

1. Measure the cereal and add it to a bowl.

2. Add powdered sugar and cookie mix to the bag and set aside.

3. Add green frosting to a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 20-second intervals until melted.

4. Once melted pour it over the cereal in the bowl and fold in carefully. Add in sprinkles.

5. Once coated, add the cereal to the bag and shake to cover with sugar and cookie mix.

6. Pour out of the bag onto a baking pan and let dry. Add more sprinkles.

Notes

Let the coated cereal cool and dry fully before serving to avoid stickiness. Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Great for parties or festive snack bags!
