Description

Easy cheesy tater tot casserole with ground beef, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, and crispy golden tater tots. A quick and comforting family dinner ready in under an hour.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 ounces frozen green beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (2 pound) bag frozen tater tots

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a medium skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Drain any excess grease and stir in the Worcestershire sauce. Transfer the meat mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

4. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the meat mixture and top with the green beans.

5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the green beans.

6. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.

7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.


Notes

For extra flavor, use sharp cheddar cheese.

Do not thaw the tater tots before baking.

You can substitute cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom soup if desired.

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
