Buttery crescent rolls stuffed with creamy, cheesy chicken filling—an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (fresh or dried)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray (for greasing)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
3. Open and unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface.
4. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each dough triangle.
5. Roll each triangle toward the pointed end, tucking in the sides as you go.
6. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the pointed side down.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
8. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Customize the filling with vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for convenience.
Assemble ahead and refrigerate before baking if needed.
These rolls freeze well—bake straight from frozen with a few extra minutes added.
