Ingredients
- 2 large boneless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup fine breadcrumbs (or gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (or almond flour for low-carb)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
1. Flatten chicken breasts to about ¾ inch thick using a meat mallet.
2. In one bowl, mix flour and seasonings. In another bowl, place breadcrumbs.
3. Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into breadcrumbs.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the coated chicken.
5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), flipping halfway through.
