Ingredients

2 lbs skinless and boneless chicken breasts
1 oz packet ranch dressing seasoning mix
1 oz packet dry au jus gravy mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers, drained


Instructions

Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and the dry au jus mix evenly over the top of the chicken.
Place the slices of butter on top of the seasoning-covered chicken.
Arrange the pepperoncini peppers over the top.
Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with two forks and stir well to combine with the gravy before serving.
