Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup teriyaki marinade (see note)
3 tablespoons pineapple juice
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cornstarch (for glazing)
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C)
Place chicken breasts in resealable bags with teriyaki marinade, pineapple juice, ginger, and garlic; refrigerate 30 minutes
Remove chicken from marinade and discard remaining marinade
Grill chicken 5-6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F
Whisk cornstarch and water; brush mixture onto chicken during last 2 minutes of grilling for glossy glaze
Let rest 5 minutes before serving
Notes
Use store-bought gluten-free teriyaki sauce if needed
Double cornstarch water for thicker glaze
Serve with steamed jasmine rice and grilled pineapple for full Hawaiian experience
