Ingredients
1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/3 cup honey (adjust for sweetness)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari)
1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice or quinoa (1/2 cup uncooked)
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil (e.g., canola or avocado)
Optional garnish: toasted sesame seeds or sliced green onions
Instructions
Rinse and cook rice or quinoa according to package instructions.
In a bowl, whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, and 1 tbsp water until smooth.
Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic 30 seconds.

Pour honey garlic sauce over shrimp and broccoli, tossing to coat. Serve warm over rice/quinoa and garnish as desired.
Notes
For halal compliance, use certified halal shrimp.
Replace rice/quinoa with cauliflower rice for low-carb option.
Sauce adjustments: Add ginger for warmth, or a splash of apple cider vinegar for tang.
Store leftovers in airtight containers for 3-4 days (shrimp may become rubbery after reheating).
