Description

A crisp and refreshing fall salad featuring sweet Honeycrisp apples, tangy feta, crunchy walnuts, and a light honey vinaigrette.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups mixed greens (arugula and butter lettuce)
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.

2. Place mixed greens in a large serving bowl to form the base of the salad.

3. Arrange thinly sliced Honeycrisp apples evenly over the greens.

4. Add crumbled feta cheese, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries on top.

5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.

6. Gently toss using salad tongs until evenly coated, keeping ingredients intact.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh, crisp Honeycrisp apples.

Dress the salad just before serving to keep greens fresh and crisp.

Store leftover components separately to prevent sogginess.

Walnuts can be substituted with toasted pecans for a different flavor.
