- For the Topping
- 1/4 cup Fresh dill – Substitute with dried dill or parsley if necessary
- Optional Additions
- Vegetable sides (Asparagus or bell peppers) – Adds texture when roasted alongside
- Lemon slices or tomatoes – Enhance flavor when placed on salmon before baking
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Whisk well and let sit for 5 minutes.
3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a lined baking sheet, spaced evenly.
4. Generously brush the marinade over each fillet and sprinkle fresh dill on top.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes with a fork and is opaque.
6. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot with side dishes.
Notes
Choose wild-caught salmon for the best flavor. Let the marinade sit for better absorption. Watch the cooking time to avoid drying out. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for added brightness.
