Ingredients

Scale

1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
28 ounce can crushed tomatoes, undrained
4 ounce can diced green chiles
15 ounce can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
17 ounce can corn, drained

Instructions

In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, sea salt, oregano, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper, coating the meat thoroughly.
Pour in the undrained crushed tomatoes and diced green chiles.
Add the rinsed kidney beans, black beans, and drained corn.
Bring the soup to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serve warm and enjoy.
